The 2nd Yuanwang Overseas Salon — Risks and Responses for Chinese Enterprises Going Global

Overview

The International Cooperation and Exchange Center of Yuanwang Think Tank will host the second Yuanwang Overseas Salon on September 25, 2025, to support Chinese enterprises’ international expansion under the Belt and Road Initiative. Building on the inaugural salon, this small, high‑interaction forum brings together government representatives, industry experts, think tanks, legal and financial advisors, and enterprise leaders to examine risks and practical responses for private firms operating abroad, with a focus on MENA, Africa and other key regions.

- Identify and analyze multi‑dimensional risks (political, legal, financial, operational, cultural) and strengthen early‑warning capabilities.  

- Develop practical, compliance‑focused risk management and emergency response strategies.  

- Facilitate experience sharing through expert insights and company case studies.  

- Connect enterprises with government, think tanks, finance and legal resources to enable concrete cooperation.  

- Provide ongoing risk‑monitoring and advisory services to support safe, high‑quality overseas development.
